John W. Kitchens is a founding partner of Kitchens Law Firm, P.A., where he represents individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, and intentional tort cases. Practicing law since 2003, John focuses exclusively on the rights of injured people—never insurance companies—and works to ensure that his clients receive necessary medical treatment early in the process while their cases are pending.
He has tried cases throughout Mississippi and is known for a hands-on, strategic approach that emphasizes preparation, clear communication, and client trust. John has served on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) since 2009 and has also been a longstanding member of the Executive Committee of the Mississippi Association for Justice (MAJ). He has previously served on the board of the Mississippi Food Network and has been an active volunteer with Camp Rainbow, a summer camp for pediatric cancer patients, since 1998. He is also a proud supporter of Mississippi’s Toughest Kids Foundation and its operation of Camp Kamassa—the state’s only fully handicap-accessible campground.
John is married with three children and lives in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. When not practicing law, he spends time in his yard, often combining his love of outdoor work with a steady stream of audiobooks.
